The AEYNSD held its 1st Steering Committee Meeting to tackle in detail the network's five-year strategic plan. Through the meeting, it finalised its organisational structure and several network and operational policies, which would help the network to be more systematic and ensure its democratic process. Participants also assessed the network's capability and evaluated its potential and sustainability.
Twenty youth elected members of the Steering Committee participated in the meeting. The meeting's focus was on youth involvement, and it emphasised the role of youths as the main stakeholders of sustainable development by highlighting contributions by youths and youth organisations.
