The fifth instalment of the Annual Training Programme was attended by 60 young leaders who represented local communities and youth social and non-governmental organisations in ASEM member countries, as well as ASEM government officers involved in youth-related issues.
The training took place in three locations that were good examples of places where sustainable development projects are being implemented. The programme provided participants with the basic skills and knowledge on climate change and sustainable development issues at a local, regional, and international level. Participants agreed to put sustainable development into practical action and impart the knowledge acquired during the training.
