Following the success of the 1st Asia-Europe Youth Interfaith Dialogue held in Spain in 2006, the ASEF held the 2nd Asia-Europe Youth Interfaith Dialogue to discuss the further development of closer interfaith youth co-operation between Asia and Europe.
The ASEM Youth Dialogue series is a channel for youth in ASEM countries to exchange perspectives on priority themes in the ASEM agenda. Focus is given to youth participation in the ASEM process, with an emphasis on coming up with solutions to identified concerns.
ASEF's contribution is with the financial support of the European Commission.
