ASEF Cultural Capacity Building Initiative - ASEF Roadschool

The ASEF Cultural Capacity Building Initiative – ASEF Roadschool is ASEF Culture Department’s capacity building project for young cultural professionals across Asia and Europe.

ASEF Roadschool is a new project under the second pillar of the Culture Department – Supporting Mutual Cultural Practice. By ‘mutual cultural practice’, we refer to artistic activities that deepen Asia-Europe cultural co-operation and are focused on topics of common interest for arts communities on both sides of the exchange; mutually beneficial and multilateral engagement.

Over the last 10 years, the Culture Department has been supporting training, mentoring and peer exchange activities across all of its projects such as:

Launching its pilot phase in the 2nd half of 2019, ASEF Roadschool will take place in the form of trainings for young cultural professionals (arts managers and curators), revolving around the topics of cultural policy and cultural heritage.
