This networking event brought together 29 individuals from 19 ASEM member countries. The participants, aged between 18 and 30, represented 27 voluntary service organisations in Asia and Europe that were involved in the field of youth work.
The conference aimed to provide a platform for a "contact-making" process, and it was hoped that this would translate into a channel for future information sharing and co-operation.
