ASEF expressed condolence on Mr Manus BRINKMAN's demise

Published on 07 Jul 2015

We have learned with great sadness about the passing of our dear friend and valued colleague, Mr Manus BRINKMAN, on Saturday, 4 July 2015 in Chiangmai, Thailand. The Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF) would like to express our deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved family, friends and colleagues.

Mr Brinkman, former Secretary General of the International Council of Museums (ICOM), was involved in the inception of the Asia-Europe Museum Network (ASEMUS) back in the year 2000. He was also the Content-Editor of one of the ASEMUS’ most successful projects,  the Virtual Collection of Masterpieces (VCM), for the past 10 years. Mr Brinkman will be dearly missed.
