ASEF Public Health Network is set to speak at the World AMR Congress in Philadelphia, PA, USA, on 7-8 September 2023. This is the world’s largest AMR conference for all stakeholders combating Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR).

This panel session aims to discuss how we can secure effective collaboration across all fields (diagnostics, interventions, etc.) with a specific focus on LMICs. Each panelist will share their activities to ensure access, including funding. The session ultimately intends to draw some recommendations to move forward with a few action points.

ROUNDTABLE 11 | Strength & Weaknesses of One Health Approach | September 8 | 1:25 PM

This session will explore the strength and weaknesses of One Health Approach. ‘One Health’ is an integrated, unifying approach to balance and optimize the health of people, animals and the environment. It is particularly important to prevent, predict, detect, and respond to global health threats such as the COVID-19 pandemic. The approach mobilizes multiple sectors, disciplines and communities at varying levels of society to work together. This way, new and better ideas are developed that address root causes and create long-term, sustainable solutions.
