As part of the Virtual Residency Stop. Look Back. Look Ahead. Proceed. on Arts & Climate Change, ASEF and Casa Asia are organising a webinar on 25 October (7pm Singapore time, 1pm Spain time), to discuss with the artists and the mentor on learnings and challenges of this online collaboration. The 2 groups of artists will also present their final collaborative project in response to the theme of Arts & Climate Change.
After 8 weeks of collaborative work in small groups, we have invited the 5 participating emerging artists from Spain, Indonesia, India, and China to share their experience, together with their mentor, Kamini Ramachandran, Director of MoonShadow Stories and The Storytelling Centre, Singapore. This conversation will focus on the process of collaborating online and being able to negotiate the different artistic inclinations between artists from Asia and Europe towards one joint project.
