OVERVIEW
The NatFilm Festival is one of the biggest international film events in Denmark; it is considered an important platform for domestic distributors, who can promote everything from Hollywood releases to cutting-edge films during the event.
Four young film directors from Asia and Europe received ASEF Cultural Grants to take part in the NatFilm festival in 2004. They were:
– David Caffrey, Ireland, “Grand Theft Parsons”
– Bong Joon-Ho, South Korea, “Memories Of Murder”
– Jan Kruger, Germany, “En-route (Unterwegs)”
– Lee Sang-II, Japan, “Border Line”
The film directors presented their films to the audience and took part in a visit to the National Film School of Denmark.The professional visit allowed them to learn more about the film industry in Denmark.
