#ASEFClassNet
The ASEF Classroom Network (#ASEFClassNet) provides capacity-building opportunities for collaborative and interdisciplinary Teaching & Learning among secondary, high, and vocational school teachers and teacher trainer in Asia and Europe. It allows participants to build their capacity in a peer-to-peer setting where they mainly:
- explore the potential of cutting-edge EdTech tools such as AI
- integrate contemporary education topics such as Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) and Climate Change Education (CCE) into school curriculum
- create out of school intercultural and international experience for students to build transversal skills
- take action and design innovative teaching practices to enhance teaching & learning environments and experiences in their schools
Since its inception, over 2,000 teachers from Asia and Europe countries have participated in and become members of the ASEF Classroom Network. As a result, over 35,000 students have been engaged in over 430 Asia-Europe School Collaborations and both local and international spin-off activities.
#ASEFClassNet16
The #ASEFClassNet16 is a 7-month long hybrid project hat begun with a Virtual Capacity Building stage (June to September 2023) on “Leading Change: Digital Transformation of Education in the Era of AI.” The Virtual stage included two parallel activities – the Faculty Collaboration (for academic experts and teacher trainers) and the School Collaboration (for teachers). Participants from both activities are engaged in 3 phases that allowed them to build capacity in an engaging peer-to-peer setting. You can learn more about these two activities here: Faculty Collaboration & School Collaboration. During the conference, selected participants will have the chance to meet in face-to-face for the first time and collaborate further to strengthen their knowledge and understanding on the topic through keynotes, lectures, workshops, and study visit in local institutions.
