Organised back-to-back with the 6th Asia-Europe Business Forum (AEBF), the event brought young entrepreneurs from Asia and Europe together for a two-day forum, which enabled them to have an open dialogue and exchange views.

The participants learnt about different business cultures and discussed how to improve the environment for business and achieve a closer inter-regional co-operation in the future.

Three outstanding participants were also recognised for their Asia-Europe co-operation efforts, and for proposing innovative strategies for future business links between the two regions. They were presented with AEYEF Awards during an award ceremony at Istana, the Office of the President of Singapore. The recipients were:

- Mr. Robert Baker, CEO, Xiam Ltd., Ireland

- Mr. Cheolsoo Ahn, President and CEO, Ahnlab Inc., Korea

- Mr. Kurt Kammerer, Co-founder and CEO, Living Systems AG, Germany
