OVERVIEW

This symposium brought together academics and intellectuals from ASEM member countries to better understand the different values pertaining to the role of the individual in the family, society, and state.

The event consisted of three sessions that explored the role of the individual in different settings, and a final panel concluded the symposium on the following topic: "Bridging The Gap Between The Asian And European Perspectives On Individualism: Practical Applications."
