OVERVIEW

This lecture was delivered by Ambassador Dr. P. Christian Hauswedell, who expressed his enthusiasm for the future of ASEM and its relevance, while underlining the urgent need for an ASEM Secretariat. Hauswedell has worked on political, trade, and defence relations with various regions, as well as with international organisations. He has also served in the German missions in Beijing, Hong Kong, and London.
