12th ASEF University: Asia-Europe Cooperation on the Environment – Towards Sustainable Forest Management

This publication brings together presentations and discussions of the 12^th ASEF University on “Asia-Europe Co-operation on the Environment: Towards Sustainable Forest Management”, held in Brunei Darussalam from 9^th to 22^nd July 2005.

Articles address various developments and challenges in the field of forest management in Asia and Europe, such as politics of logging, the use and functions of forest resources, the maintenance of biodiversity or transboundary haze pollution and approaches of transnational air pollution policies.

This compilation is of interest for any one working in sub-disciplines of environment and sustainable development: undergraduates and graduates, academia, NGO’s, professional ecologists and policy-makers.
