Effective Risk Communication for Public Health Emergencies and the Role of Social Media

This booklet is an outcome of the Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF) – Accurate Scenarios Active Preparedness (ASEF-ASAP) project. The publication has the first-hand information on the rationale behind the development as well as the applications of the ASEF-ASAP scenarios. These scenarios were developed through a series of participatory workshops organised by the ASEF Public Health Network. The publication is produced with the active contribution of a number of participants from multiple sectors that have a stake in pandemic preparedness across Asia and Europe. This guarantees the necessary relevance of the scenarios for a broad range of actors who will be involved in effective future pandemic preparedness.
