This publication is a written record of the Asia-Europe Seminar on Ethnic Cultures Promotion held from 18th to 20th September 2001 in Chiang Mai, Thailand. The aim of the seminar was to identify the status of ethnic cultures, to realize better ways to preserve and promote ethnic cultures in Asia and Europe.
