The Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF) successfully completed the 13th edition of its Public Diplomacy Training, featuring a dynamic face-to-face component hosted by Singapore’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

From 1–5 December, the five-day programme brought together 27 junior diplomats representing 27 ASEM countries, offering them a unique opportunity to sharpen their public diplomacy skills and build on insights gained during the earlier online course.

The programme also featured a panel discussion onPublic Diplomacy: Building Trust, Influence, and Cooperation”, a fireside chat with Ambassador Tommy Koh, and a visit to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Singapore, giving participants firsthand exposure to Singapore’s diplomatic practices and thought leadership. Throughout the programme, participants were engaged in expert-led presentations, interactive workshops, and a cultural tour of Singapore, deepening their understanding of the nation’s rich history and vibrant culture.
