What is ASEF LinkUp?
ASEF LinkUp is a unique meeting ground for cultural professionals, practitioners, policymakers and institutional representatives to listen, share and learn alongside one another, on the topic of Sustainability, Ethics and Equity in International Cultural Relations.
Who is the Open Call for?
We welcome applications from mid-career cultural practitioners and professionals working in the international cultural relations field, who are dedicated towards fostering more reciprocal, equitable and long-term cultural exchanges and dialogue.
We are looking for applicants who are:
- A citizen in an ASEM partner country
- Passionate about facilitating international cultural exchanges
- Committed to deepening collaborations among and across Asia and Europe
- Eager to share and learn about international cultural relations beyond your discipline and geography
Programme Structure
ASEF LinkUp 2026 unfolds across 3 phases between October 2026 to February 2027:
- Online pre–sessions: 5 sessions from 15 October to 12 November 2026
- In-person Lab in Ljubljana, Slovenia: 5 days of workshops, visits, and interactive sessions from 23 to 27 November 2026
- Fieldbook, Futures and Connections: up to 3 online sessions between December 2026 to February 2027
