Culture is one of ASEF’s seven key thematic areas. We promote cultural relations by connecting artists, cultural professionals, arts organisations, public institutions, networks and museums in Asia and Europe.

ASEF Culture develops and implements various projects that respond to current gaps in cultural cooperation between Asia and Europe. With our 3 flagship programmes, the Asia-Europe Cultural Festival, ASEF LinkUp: Asia-Europe Cultural Diplomacy Lab and culture360.ASEF.org, we enable capacity building through virtual and hybrid residencies, provide access to information through online news and publications, facilitate dialogues and knowledge exchange by hosting webinars and panel discussions, and promote artistic diversity through events with artists from Asia and Europe.
