The Asia-Europe Foundation was honoured to host Professor Dariusz WÓJCIK for the 3rd and final ASEF Lecture Series of 2025 on “Finance in Asia–Europe Relations”.
The event was opened by Executive Director Ambassador Beata STOCZYŃSKA, who delivered welcoming remarks, setting the tone for an engaging lecture by Professor Dariusz WÓJCIK, Professor of Financial Geography at the National University of Singapore and Honorary Research Associate at the University of Oxford.
Professor WÓJCIK’s presentation provided unique insights into the evolving financial landscapes across Asia and Europe, drawing from his latest book, ‘Atlas of Finance’, and exploring how financial flows, institutions, and innovations shape interregional relations.
The session concluded with closing remarks from Deputy Executive Director Mr ZHANG Lei, who emphasised the importance of strengthened Asia–Europe collaboration in finance to address emerging opportunities and challenges.
