On 6 and 7 March 2024, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia together with the Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF) organised ASEM Day 2024 in Solo, Central Java, Indonesia. The event revolved around “Cultural Diversity: A Shared Value and Celebrated Wealth among ASEM Countries”.

Ambassador Morikawa Toru, ASEF Executive Director, delivered welcome remarks at the ASEM Day celebration, highlighting the importance of celebrating diversity, promoting understanding and mutual respect between different cultures and traditions across Asia and Europe.

ASEF is an intergovernmental not-for-profit organisation, which brings together the peoples of Asia and Europe to address common global challenges.
