The Asia-Europe Cultural Festival 2026 will conclude in Singapore on 19 June with Elusive — A Double Bill by T.H.E Dance Company. This compelling contemporary dance production reflects on the complexity and ambiguity of the human condition through two distinct yet interconnected choreographic works.

The Closing Curtain is presented in collaboration with T.H.E Dance Company and cont.act Dance Festival, and will take place at Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay, Singapore’s premier performing arts venue. This partnership underscores AECFest’s commitment to engaging leading arts organisations across Asia and Europe, while situating the Festival within dynamic local cultural ecosystems.

Presented by Singapore’s leading contemporary dance ensemble, T.H.E Dance Company, Elusive brings together internationally acclaimed choreographers Kim Jae Duk (Republic of Korea) and Ginevra Panzetti (Italy/Germany). Through the company’s signature physicality and choreographic precision, the double bill unfolds as a layered exploration of the tensions and resonances that shape human experience.
