We’re absolutely thrilled to introduce our mentors for the ASEFClassNet18 School Collaboration Programme in 2025!
This year, 12 exceptional mentors from 12 countries across #Asia and #Europe will be joining us as part of the #ASEFClassNet18 School Collaboration Mentorship Programme. These esteemed educators bring with them a wealth of experience, passion, and insight, and they will serve as guiding teacher experts for our teacher participants as they embark on the exciting journey of designing Innovative Teaching Practices (ITP).
Mentorship plays a pivotal role in any teacher professional development programme. It creates a dynamic environment where teachers can receive tailored guidance, build confidence in their abilities, and overcome challenges through the wisdom, shared knowledge and support of those who have walked similar paths before. Having an experienced mentor offers teachers not just technical advice, but also emotional support and motivation, fostering a sense of belonging and community within the broader educational landscape.
Moreover, mentorship accelerates professional growth by bridging the gap between theory and practice. It empowers teachers to reflect critically on their work, test new ideas, and adapt innovative strategies to fit their unique classroom contexts. Through meaningful mentor-mentee relationships, teachers gain the tools and encouragement needed to drive impactful change — not only in their own teaching but in the learning experiences of their students.
Designing and implementing an ITP stands as a cornerstone of our #ASEFClassNet Capacity Building programme. It empowers teachers to refine and enhance their teaching methodologies through peer-to-peer collaboration, creative exploration, and the dynamic exchange of ideas across borders. And this is where the power of mentorship truly shines – acting as a catalyst for both professional and personal growth, while inspiring innovation through invaluable guidance, encouragement, and feedback.
