ASEF Culture will present the 7th edition of the Asia-Europe Cultural Festival (AECFest) from June to October 2025, showcasing the rich cultural diversity and artistic exchanges across Poland, China, Singapore and Lao PDR.
In collaboration with various arts and cultural organisations throughout Asia and Europe, AECFest 2025 will feature a programme commencing with a Curtain Raiser in Poland, followed by the Main Festival in China, and culminating in two Closing Curtain events in Singapore and the Lao PDR—a first for the festival. Thanks to its travelling nature, the festival will maximise its audience reach and facilitate cross-cultural dialogues. The festival’s diverse programme, encompassing theatre, contemporary dance, music, and multidisciplinary performances, actively fosters artistic collaborations and cultivates meaningful connections, advancing cultural diplomacy between the two culturally diverse and creative regions.
The AECFest will also serve as a platform to showcase the outcomes of new artist residencies supported by ASEF, reaffirming our commitment to empowering artists and enriching creative exploration through knowledge exchanges.
