ASEFClassNet EmpowerEd Project 2026
FLARE2 – Flipped Learning & AI for Reflective Education 2

The FLARE2 Project aims to empower educators to adopt or enhance flipped learning practices using effective strategies and accessible AI tools. Led by experienced flipped learning trainer Mr.
Hellsten, the project addresses the challenges of creating engaging, reflective materials by introducing AI to streamline content development. It promotes student ownership of learning and
supports teachers in building reflective teaching practices. Educators will learn to design AI-supported flipped courses, develop self-assessment tools aligned with local curricula, and foster
learner autonomy.

Goals

The goals are to:

  • equip educators with pedagogical strategies for effective flipped learning
  • introduce accessible AI tools that assist in content creation and reflective assessment design
  • foster cross-cultural collaboration and sharing of open educational resources among educators.
